CitrusDev developed an RFID/BLE scanner iOS app that operates efficiently in the background. The client’s in-house team lacked expertise in working with BLE in the background, but our experienced team successfully resolved their issue with slow scanning and door access times. The enhanced app now provides swift and reliable door opening, significantly improving user convenience and satisfaction.

The project involved creating iOS and Android mobile apps for a smart door lock, enhancing Smart Home automation and security. The apps integrate with the smart door lock using BLE and WiFi communication, providing residents with a secure, seamless control over their home access. The CitrusDev web development team faced several challenges while developing the project. One of the significant challenges was designing a system that could differentiate between various types of cars, such as the cars of organizers and transport delivery drivers (who only enter within the framework of a particular event) and the cars of tenants (who enter on a regular, more long-term basis). This required a robust algorithm that could recognize different car categories and their quotas.

This project case was developed for Polyscale, a company of approximately 50 employees operating in the appliance, electrical, and electronics manufacturing industries. The department we collaborated with specialized in developing, manufacturing, and distributing light guide plate (LGP) based systems.

The Smart Scale project by CitrusDev offers an innovative solution for accurately weighing trucks, utilizing an Android app integrated with a wireless weight controller over WiFi and Bluetooth. This advanced system ensures precise weight measurements, enhancing efficiency in logistics and transportation operations. The Android app provides a user-friendly interface, enabling real-time monitoring and control, while the wireless integration allows for seamless connectivity and flexibility. Additionally, the developed backoffice ensures effective data management, facilitating streamlined operations and informed decision-making.

Our client decided to attract investment in their product from one of the international venture funds. That is why they requested only the development of a basic version of the mobile application, to demonstrate the value of the product to the investors.

The main idea of the app was to help people to preserve their mental health by analyzing their heart rate over a long period of time. A special HRM from Viatom was used for this project because this device has the ability to store the HR values and sync with a mobile app through Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it can sync data even if the device is not connected for a long period of time. There was no time to develop detailed UX/UI and backend, so we suggested a solution that would satisfy all the client’s requirements.
